Scandinavian Home Interior Design at Nautical Condominium
Scandinavian interior design is known for their simplicity and beauty that is centred around functionality and elegance. The use of lighting is extremely important and Scandinavian interior designs usually incorporate earthly muted tones and honest materials like metal and wood.
The living room has a lot of wooden elements incorporated into it that goes hand in hand with the other. The clever pop of black with the track lights and ceiling fan ties the whole look together. The eccentric lighting hanging over the table and additional lighting in the false ceiling brings some character into the space.
The customised and built in tv console incorporates a nice mixture of wooden and white cabinets for extra storage space. The additional shelving above where the tv sits allows for a nice display area of art and centrepieces.
In the bedroom, the built-in wardrobe follows the theme of the tv console with the same mixture of wood and white. The lighting in the false ceiling is something different and gives the room a cosier feel.
The hallway leading to the bedrooms are fully mirrored from floor to ceiling which is also a good contrast from the adjacent white wall. It also makes the hallway look bigger than it seems. Warm light from the spotlights in the hallway gives off a cosier feeling that reflects nicely off the tinted mirrors also.
